Breaking The Mold
Each Acer CB series putter started out as an idea to provide the most rear and extreme perimeter weighting available today in each model. Any amount of unwanted twisting can result in the ball being lipped out or traveling completely off-line. For many years heel/toe weighted putters have improved upon providing a more balanced designed than blade style models of the past. The Acer CB series take it one notch higher by shifting that weight as far rearward as possible. This does two important things. The extreme perimeter weighting creates an ultra-high MOI keeping the ball traveling on its intended line without loosing energy. Secondly, moving the weight rearward helps reduce the skidding of the ball and helps the ball start rolling quicker for better distance control.
